Vaisala RFL100: facility temperature and humidity

Research a defined temperature/humidity probe, compatible VaiNet access point and viewLinc route for a non-clinical facility observation and reviewed response.

Offering research · By Admin · Checked 20 October 2026. Official logger, radio and monitoring references; no installed measurement, alarm delivery or local quote verified.

This route addresses the environment branch of the non-clinical pilot. Choose a facility temperature or relative-humidity observation and an approved review question. Keep the physical variable and observation point explicit; the record does not establish an asset's location or readiness for clinical use.

Specify the probe, data route and response together

An identified measurement

RFL100 supports different probe configurations. Choose the actual temperature/humidity probe and required operating range rather than applying the family name to every variable or environment. Other measurement options need their own configuration review.

A compatible wireless route

The user guide describes RFL100 through an AP10 access point to viewLinc. Its radio-compatibility section requires a country-appropriate logger model and compatible AP10 wireless model. A shared brand name does not establish matching radio hardware.

An accountable review

Specify who reviews the condition, what reference check is required and which response the facility procedure permits. A configured alarm, recorded reading and successfully delivered notification are different things to demonstrate.

Follow a facility observation into a reviewed exception

1 · Define the observation point

Choose one non-clinical facility zone and variable. Record the purpose, units, location, placement rationale and responsible operator. The facility owner supplies the review rule and response procedure; this page supplies no clinical or medicine-storage threshold.

2 · Confirm probe and regional hardware

Identify the logger, probe, AP10, software and document revisions. The provider resolves measurement range, installation, calibration/reference scope, compatible radio variants and local approval. Keep that evidence with the delivered configuration.

3 · Choose the platform route explicitly

The current system overview distinguishes viewLinc Enterprise Server, viewLinc Cloud and Jade Smart Cloud. Choose the proposed route and its entitlement, hosting/account and support terms. Cloud preconfiguration and setup behaviour differ from an Enterprise Server installation; do not mix those instructions.

4 · Demonstrate timing and continuity

The referenced RFL100 user guide describes one-minute probe reading and four-minute transmission to the access point. Confirm the actual configuration and distinguish sampling, delivery, display and alarm delay. Test stale/offline status and recovery rather than describing the whole route as instantaneous.

5 · Check the measurement and response

The field-check guidance compares the logger probe and a reference instrument in a stable shared environment after readings settle. Have the responsible team agree and record an appropriate check for the actual probe. Demonstrate the intended exception, authorised notification recipient and acknowledged operating response.

6 · Maintain the record and fallback

Retain observation/receipt time, probe identity, configuration, reference/calibration evidence, gaps and replayed records. Review replacement, batteries, access, updates, backups and export. Keep the existing approved inspection/response procedure available when the connected route is unavailable.

Separate buffering from timely response

The product overview describes local buffering and transmission after a temporary communication interruption. Recovered historical readings do not establish that a notification arrived in time. Test the actual outage duration, recoverable history and operator response for the delivered scope.

Specify integration and notifications in the proposal

The viewLinc overview describes reports, alarm channels and API/OPC UA options. Confirm which functions, licences, services and receiving systems are included. Demonstrate authorised test delivery and acknowledgement; a listed channel or protocol is not proof of a working end-to-end workflow.

Keep validation and intended use distinct

Manufacturer documentation describes regulated-use options and supporting services. These do not certify this proposed site, its configuration or operating procedure. This editorial route remains a non-clinical facility observation; it establishes no patient benefit, sterility, medicine suitability or regulatory approval.

Make calibration and service ownership practical

Request exact probe specifications, calibration coverage and intervals agreed for the use, replacement arrangements, regional support and ongoing software/network responsibilities. Record any change to probe, placement, units, software or review rule before interpreting a time-series change as a real condition change.

Use the pilot and a written proposal

Non-clinical tracking pilot provides the operating question and evidence record. Prepare a private requirements enquiry for Admin review. An unlisted provider may be named in the non-confidential brief; no provider is contacted automatically.

Sources and independence

Official product, model-specific radio/overview and field-check references support the logger distinctions. The monitoring-system and cloud-setup pages establish that platform routes have different scope and setup. Acceptance questions are original editorial guidance. No actual reading, calibration service, delivered notification, site validation, local quotation or IoTPapa partnership is established.
