Choose the storage route

Decide between compatible local media and the paid cloud option, including retention and playback needs.

Limit who can watch

Set camera placement, privacy zones and account access before collecting footage from a shared space.

Document mapping and recording constraints

The India V3.80 selector labels its linked datasheet V3.8, while the supplied PDF filename includes 3.0&3.6. Retain that manufacturer link association and verify the delivered label; this does not establish every revision identical or independently verify ONVIF registered conformance. TP-Link’s current general streaming FAQ describes a two-route limit across cloud, local and NAS/NVR recording. Confirm the chosen routes and actual playback on the delivered firmware.

Plan a useful first check

Test the intended view, movement and recorded playback in a controlled setting. Confirm privacy zones, access removal and recording retention before monitoring a shared room.

Dependencies and limits

Continuous power, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Tapo setup and a compatible separately purchased microSD card if local recording is needed. Check network and account permissions.

Tapo Care cloud storage requires a subscription. This profile uses the Indian V3.8 datasheet; older C210 revisions can have different storage limits. Detection features have not been independently evaluated.

Evidence and market checks

India price, stock, local warranty and total ownership cost have not been independently verified. Check regional power, returns, import costs and paid-service terms before buying. No seller or affiliate offer is presented.

The facts above report manufacturer documentation. IoTPapa has not measured performance, reliability, range, detection accuracy or power consumption. There is no product score, test verdict or current offer on this page.
